Disposal of Household Hazardous Waste

As you likely are aware, household hazardous waste (HHW) items, such as liquid paint, oil, and household chemicals, may not be included with your household garbage collected curbside by Best Trash.  HHW must be disposed of properly in order to ensure safe handling and to avoid damage to the local environment.  BC MUD 22 residents may drop off HHW in the drive-thru area at the Stella Roberts Recycling Center, located at 5800 Magnolia Parkway, Pearland, TX 77584, on Fridays, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., or on Saturdays, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Hazardous materials and chemicals must be stored in separate containers, be clearly labeled, and securely fastened.
